Delete your account

You can delete your CASEFILE account and all of your data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. Delete it yourself (fastest)

If you can sign in, this removes everything immediately:

1. Open CASEFILE on the web or in the mobile app.
2. Sign in, then go to the Account screen.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away, on every device.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can’t sign in, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you:

Send the request from the email address you used to sign up (so we can verify it’s you) with the subject “Account deletion request.” We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account record and email, your case progress, notebook and board, scores and ranks, and your interrogation transcripts. This cannot be undone.

We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to, or as needed for security and fraud prevention. We keep only what is necessary and for no longer than required.
